As our business grows, we need someone to help with managing our programming content:

• Quick introduction to a new programming language.
• Creating questions based on the introduction and your ideas.
• Vetting submissions and finalizing questions to our standards of quality.
• Improving questions based on score distribution and feedback.

You’ll learn the basics of new programming languages and frameworks, create questions that test those skills, and improve your propositions based on the feedback we get from experts. You’ll try to understand users’ and candidates’ usage of questions, propose ways to improve them, and bring the whole question library to an even higher level of quality.

Our goal is to make an offer within two weeks. We have a structured approach to hiring and successful applications will progress through each step:

• Take a TestDome programming test to assess your programming skills. It will take about an hour and include 2 reasoning questions, 4 programming questions, and ask for your resume and other details. (Naturally, we dogfood our product. You’ll get a chance to see what we are building to make hiring better.)
• A video interview with a question content manager from your future team

About you,

A little bit about what we think can be a good fit for us,

• You have worked with Ruby on Rails.
• You aren’t afraid to dabble into Rails internals if you need to.
• You worked extensively with PostgreSQL, and you can write raw SQL if you need to.
• You worked with REST, GraphQL APIs and you can put an argument for using one over the other.
• You aren’t afraid to work with Javascript, Typescript and/or Vue.js.
• You understand the value of writing tests, as an investment for the future.
• You have worked with any cloud provider, preferably AWS.
• You have worked with Docker, and preferably touched on AWS ECS.
• You have did your some share of DevOps work. The more the merrier.
• You write your code with empathy for your fellow Engineers, and for future readers.
• You favor simplicity.
• You have are self-driven, and can self-manage.
• You can write and communicate in English succinctly. You wrote technical plans before, we do write a lot.
• You love to take on complex problems, and you don’t shy away from fixing issues.
